This year’s index highlights a continued preference for versatile and fuel-efficient models, with a growing trend toward compact and mid-sized vans that can handle urban logistics as well as rural or industrial work. Peugeot and Volkswagen topped the poll as the most desirable brands for commercial vehicles.

Diesel remains the preferred fuel choice in the LCV sector due to its balance of power and economy, although the industry has seen incremental growth in alternative fuel, particularly electric and hybrid.

4. Peugeot Expert Long Diesel: For buyers needing extra load space without sacrificing manoeuvrability, the Expert Long Diesel has proven an attractive choice.

5. Volkswagen Caddy C20 Diesel:  Favoured for its compact build and adaptability, this model provides efficient transport in urban settings.

6. Volkswagen Crafter CR35 LWB Diesel FWD: The Crafter LWB Diesel is lauded among buyers for its robustness, appealing to industries requiring long-haul capabilities.
