Spending time with the family rather than going down the pub is the main pastime of today’s van driver according to a survey conducted on behalf of Only 27 per cent of van drivers smoke — just as well since in most cases it is illegal to light up in the cab — according to its findings and a mere eight per cent have a fry-up for breakfast.
More than 40 per cent visit the gym regularly and they’re becoming more dependent on technology as well as a lot fitter. Over 30 per cent apparently own laptops and keep themselves entertained with iPhones and MP3 players.
