The 30-point check includes staples such as battery, lights, tyres, wipers and washers as well as screenwash and anti-freeze levels.
If the screenwash is low, the centre will top it up for free with VW screenwash, which the brand claimed can cope with temperatures as low as -70 degrees Celsius.
A range of VW-approved products are available for items that need replacing, including winter tyres that provide extra grip when temperatures fall below seven degrees.
