The Caddy Edition 30 is a near production concept created to mark the 30th anniversary of the small van’s launch.

Based on the Multivan Edition 25, the special model features a black roof, 17-inch black alloys and, in the case of the Frankfurt van, a 170hp, 2.0-litre TDI engine that makes the prototype the most powerful Caddy ever.

Five bodywork colours are available – white, silver, red, green and yellow. The Caddy Edition 30 comes as a panel van or with either five or seven seats.

The brand also revealed its eight-speed automatic Amarok pick-up with permanent four wheel-drive in Frankfurt, which will come to market early next year.

Powered by a new 180hp bi-turbo 2.0-litre TDI unit, the auto comes with Bluemotion technology, including stop/start and has claimed fuel consumption of 37mpg and CO2 emissions of 199g/km. It also boasts maximum torque of 420Nm and towing capacity of 3.2 tonnes.

The third CV the manufacturer displayed was the Multivan Bluemotion. VW claims the 114hp, 2.0-litre TDI-powered van consumes 0.9 litres less fuel per 62 miles than the 102hp standard model while achieving 44mpg and CO2 output of 169g/km.
