The event has had a turbulent couple of years. In 2009 the CV Show was cancelled due to the recession and this year’s took on a different form, the Commercial Vehicle Operator Show.
But organisers said as the UK emerges from the credit crunch, next year’s “vital show will help to create market growth by producing a business to business event representing all sectors of the road transport and logistics business”. More than 400 exhibitors are expected.
“The ability to deliver consistent improvements in all aspects of road freight transport efficiency is vital in tough markets,” commented Nick Jones, chairman of the CV Show. “As operators remain cautious, suppliers must be competitive. Without doubt, past experience shows the Commercial Vehicle Show is ideally placed to provide excellent opportunities for sales and growth.”
The CV Show, formed in 2000, is free to attend and is specifically a business to business event.
