Risk and compliance company TTC has introduced a new interactive range of driver training workshops.
The virtual live or classroom workshops focus on topics such as speed management, driver distractions, driver impairment, and driver fatigue, while a young driver session covers all the above and also adds seat belt use.
TTC training product manager Andy Wheeler said: “Our interactive workshops will enable fleet managers and businesses operating fleets to swiftly act on prioritised driver training needs, helping them to meet duty of care obligations and improve road risk management.
“Importantly, the new range includes training specifically for young drivers – those under the age of 24.
“Whilst new driving licence regulations are being proposed to reduce fatalities among young drivers, there will be exemptions such as driving for work. Employers, therefore, have a duty of care to ensure that young adults on their fleet are equipped with the understanding of what the risks are and how to avoid them.”
