More than 90% of the floorspace for the 2016 Commercial Vehicle Show has now sold out, according to the SMMT, one of the event’s organisers.
With five months to go before the exhibition, which takes place from 26-28 April at the NEC in Birmingham, the SMMT said 365 exhibitors have already signed up, including the “vast majority” of LCV manufacturers.
Volkswagen is the latest manufacturer to confirm its attendance at the 2016 show and joins a list that includes Citroen, Fiat Professional, Ford, Isuzu, Iveco, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot and Toyota.
Visitor registration opens on 11 January and the SMMT is expecting strong demand. This year’s show attracted 19,807 visitors, a 5% hike on the previous year, according to independent auditor ABC.
