The 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show will now take place on 8-10 June, the organisers have said.
The show was announced last month as returning to its usual April date, following the cancellation of this year’s show due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, it has now been said that due to ongoing disruption and uncertainty caused by the pandemic, the move to a summer date will provide more certainty to both exhibitors and visitors as they prepare for the show, held at the NEC in Birmingham.
The show team is said to be developing a comprehensive programme for the event, working closely with partners the Institute of Road Transport Engineers, the Road Haulage Association, and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
Show director Murray Ellis said: “The last year has shown the resilience and determination of everyone involved in the road transport sector. We are confident the 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show will provide the ideal platform for companies to launch and promote their products and services alongside all of the networking opportunities that the show is renowned for amongst exhibitors and visitors alike.
“We have taken the opportunity to reschedule the 2021 show to the summer, which will ensure we can deliver the best possible event for our industry.”
