Renault has revealed details of a trio of electric vans it will bring to market in 2026.

The vehicles are the result of a collaboration with Flexis, the company founded by Renault Group, Volvo Group and CMA CGM Group, and mirror the three electric vans Flexis has announced it will independently launch next year.

The vans are built on a new skateboard platform with SDV (software defined vehicle) architecture that supports fleet management functionality.

According to Renault, the platform represents a significant advance in the design of intelligent vehicles, offering flexibility, advanced ergonomics and connectivity, with multiple scope for customisation and reduced running costs, while also delivering high levels of safety and performance.

The three vans include the Trafic E-Tech electric, which Renault describes as having a “one-box design” with an extended wheelbase featuring wheels positioned at the corners to maximise interior space, a short front overhang and a turning circle equivalent to that of a Renault Clio. It is less than 1.90m tall to enable access to underground car parks.

The Goelette E-Tech is available in three versions: chassis cab, box and tipper, and paves the way for a wide choice of conversions, says Renault.

Finally, the Estafette E-Tech electric, which is based on the concept of the same name Renault revealed at the IAA Hanover in 2024, is 5.27m long and 1.92m wide, stands 2.60m high with an interior height of 1.90m, which Renault says allows the driver to walk upright between the cockpit and cargo area. The Estafette features sliding side doors and a rear shutter to access the load space. Renault says the van’s compact dimensions enable it to easily navigate dense urban areas.

The vans, like those bearing the Flexis badge, will be built in France at Renault’s Sandouville plant.
