Renault Trucks is adding the E-Tech Trafic electric medium van to its LCV line-up.
The E-Tech Trafic is powered by a 122hp electric motor, and has a range of up to 185 miles on the official WLTP combined cycle. The 52kWh battery can be recharged at up to 50kW with a DC charger.
The model’s towing capacity is 920kg, and payload is up to 1.16t.
It is being offered with a choice of six configurations: three panel vans (L1H1, L2H1, and L2H2), two crew vans (L1H1 and L2H1), and a platform cab – the latter unique to Renault Trucks.
Panel van versions have a load volume of between 5.8m3 and 8.9m3, and a load length of up to 4.15m.
The model also comes with an eight-year traction battery warranty, and a two-year warranty covering the rest of the vehicle.
UK sales of the Renault Trucks E-Tech Trafic will begin next month. Prices have not yet been announced.
