Volkswagen has opened orders for the ID. Buzz Cargo, its new electric van.
The model comes with a 204hp electric motor and a 77kWh battery, allowing a range of up to 256 miles.
The load bay can accommodate two Euro pallets loaded sideways, with a total volume of up to 3.9m3. Trailer loads of up to 1,000kg can be towed.
Two trim levels are being offered: Commerce, and Commerce Plus.
Standard equipment with Commerce spec includes LED headlights, a heated driver’s seat, front and rear parking sensors, a 10in infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, and multiple USB-C ports.
Further equipment with Commerce Plus spec includes adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, Park Assist Plus with memory function, a reversing camera, a heated windscreen, sat-nav, and driver assistance systems including Travel Assist, Lane Assist, Side Assist, and Emergency Assist.
Prices, excluding VAT and the UK Government’s plug-in van grant, start at £38,125 with Commerce trim, and rise to £42,375 for Commerce Plus.
