Vauxhall has confirmed UK specs and prices for the hydrogen-powered version of its Movano large van.

The Movano Hydrogen, which was named as Editor’s Choice at the What Van? Awards 2025, features a 150hp electric motor, which uses power supplied by a hydrogen fuel cell.

Four high-pressure cylindrical hydrogen tanks are said to be capable of storing 7kg of hydrogen at 700 bar operating pressure, allowing a range of 311 miles between hydrogen fill-ups, which should take five minutes.

The powertrain also includes an 11kWh battery, which provides support when starting or accelerating, and can be independently recharged in around 90 minutes using an 11kW AC charger.

The Movano Hydrogen is being made available with a single Prime trim level option. Standard equipment includes a 10in touchscreen with sat-nav, Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, a 7in driver display, rear parking sensors, automatic air conditioning, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, and a six-way adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support.

The Movano Hydrogen is being launched in L3 H2 and L4 H3 versions. Prices, excluding VAT and including the UK Government’s plug-in van grant, are £66,450 and £68,070 respectively.

Orders will open in Spring 2025.
