Mitsubishi is looking at the possibility of launching a light commercial vehicle version of its new Nissan Qashqai-rivalling ASX crossover, due for a July launch in the UK.With 220 Shogun and 146 Outlander commercial vehicles registered last year, in addition to more than 4,500 L200 pick-ups, Mitsubishi’s UK boss Lance Bradley said adding to the 4×4 commercial vehicle range is likely. “We know there would be opportunities with our existing fleet customers and I can’t see why we wouldn’t do it.”
Mitsubishi is trying to get a car over early from Japan and is hoping to have a commercial vehicle variant on sale this summer.
