Isuzu has updated its hardcore off-road D-Max pick-up truck, the AT35, with new visual features and tougher suspension.
The AT35 retains its 17in wheels with 35in tyres and flared wheel arch extensions but the updated version swaps the old model’s Fox racing dampers for Bilstein units. It also gains new black side steps and AT logos.
The AT35 now comes with leather seats with increased bolstering and further standard equipment includes a 9in infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and nine speakers. It also features both a reversing camera and a front-facing camera that monitors the area in front of the truck that would normally be in the driver’s blind spot.
For 2020, the D-Max AT35 costs from £39,995, excluding VAT, with a manual gearbox. An automatic transmission costs £1,000 extra.
The AT35 gets the same 1.9-litre 164hp diesel engine as the rest of the D-Max range. It also retains its 3.5 tonne towing capacity and one-tonne payload.
