They'll be used in central London because they qualify for an exemption from the capital's congestion tax, saving Interserve significant sums. Around 80 of the firm's small vans cross central London daily.

The Interserve light commercial order also includes 10 L1H1 Dispatches, five Enterprise 1.6HDi diesel Berlingos, five Relay vans and chassis cabs, and a pair of C2 Enterprises. All 42 vehicles are being supplied through Whitechapel, London dealer Citroën City and are being operated subject to four year/50,000 mile contract hire agreements with Arval UK.

Interserve now runs some 900 Citroëns making up well over 80 per cent of its total fleet.
