Running on 30 per cent biodiesel, the newcomers are achieving up to 25 per cent better fuel consumption than the vehicles used previously says the company. As a consequence they produce less CO2.

Supplied through dealer Warners of Cheltenham on a three-year, 60,000-mile, contract hire with maintenance agreement with Lex Vehicle Leasing, the newcomers are equipped with Wurth Bodyline load area racking. It allows them to carry the same amount of tools and parts as the larger Citroëns they’ve supplanted.

In each case the load area has been lined with polypropylene and fitted with non-slip composite flooring. A full steel bulkhead has been fitted too, along with roof bars and Citroën’s optional Bluetooth package.
