Thirty Citroën vans have gone into service with Thomas Broadbent & Sons, replacing its entire light commercial fleet. It's the third solus deal the Huddersfield-based manufacturer of industrial centrifuges and industrial laundry equipment has signed with the company.Supplied through Citroën dealer Dutton Forshaw of Preston, the order consists of 25 90 bhp 1.6HDi LX Berlingos, two 35 L3H2 120 Relays and three L1H1 LX 120 Dispatches. They all have ply-lined load areas and are equipped with bulkheads.
Acquired under four year contract hire with maintenance agreements with Lloyds TSB Autolease, they're expected to cover up to 100,000 miles apiece prior to disposal. The installation and maintenance engineers who drive them work throughout the UK and mainland Europe.
