The BVRLA’s upcoming Fleets in Charge conference will discuss progress towards decarbonisation from the fleet and mobility industry.
The event, on 20 September, will feature insights on how different parts of the sector are embracing new zero emission technology, and exploring new business models.
There’ll be a government update on ZEV mandate plans, a ‘masterclass’ on working with local authorities, and keynote speeches from Maria Bengtsson of EY, and representatives of Mobility Operations, Europcar, and Arval UK.
BVRLA chief executive Gerry Keaney said: “The fleet sector has always led the way in adopting new technologies and bringing cleaner, greener vehicles to our roads.
“Meeting the phase-out target will require sustained effort and investment. Businesses need clarity on what is required and confidence that the goalposts are not going to shift.
“Abandoning the phase out plan at this stage would create widespread uncertainty and distrust, causing progress to stall or even reverse.”
Tickets for the event are available via the BVRLA’s website. Official partners are the AA, Arval UK, Auto Trader, Dynamon, and Mina.
