The IVECO Daily Mission Awards celebrates incredible vehicles and the people behind them, with the annual event becoming a staple of the commercial vehicle calendar. For 2025, the awards are bigger than ever before, with LCVs being joined by IVECO’s HGV lineup to create a full-range spectacular. Welcome to the 2025 IVECO Mission Awards!

As with previous years, you’ll find our worthy IVECO Daily shortlisters on these pages every quarter, all before the range comes together for the ultimate showdown at a black-tie awards evening at the end of the year.

The first shortlist for 2025 is the Construction & Utilities category; a sector dependent on mission-focused specifications that have been innovatively crafted to deliver in even the most demanding of conditions. Strength is in the Daily’s DNA with its strong truck-based chassis, durable power units and excellent towing capacity, making it your perfect partner.

ECL Civil Engineering – Northern Commercials

ECL Civil Engineering has built its brand on honesty and reliability, with the ethos that each team member should push themselves and challenge their skills to deliver the best for the customer – a sentiment mirrored by the operator’s IVECO Daily vans.

The most recent addition to its fleet is an IVECO Daily 35C14 Caged Tipper with built-in tool storage. Sitting on a 3750 wheelbase, the Daily was part of IVECO’s Driveaway programme, which provides a series of pre-configured vans ready for delivery to customers, built by IVECO’s trusted partners. The clever Brit-Tipp design allows for the caged sides to be removed for missions that require a simple tipper. In fact, the lightweight configuration of the tipper means ECL can comfortably operate a 3.5-tonne vehicle without concern of exceeding weight limits.

The van is fitted with IVECO’s Business Pack, which includes air conditioning, electric and heated mirrors, cruise control and front fog lamps as standard specification. Other options include an LED safety beacon, Chapter 8 Chevron decals, vehicle tracking system, hardwire dashcam recording and an audible reverse warning.

This vehicle was supplied by Northern Commercials with an accompanying R&M contract, with a view to replace at five years or 150,000 miles, as this has proven to provide the best Total Cost of Ownership.

Judges were impressed by ECL’s mission focus and careful selection of a vehicle that perfectly matches its needs.

Mammoth Site Storage and Toilet Hire – Northeast Truck & Van

When nature calls, Mammoth Site Storage and Toilet Hire answers. This business is committed to supplying eco-friendly sanitation units, welfare cabins and site storage to customers across the UK from its headquarters in Reading.

Mammoth’s fleet of 10 LCVs and four IVECO HGVs has recently been expanded with the addition of an IVECO Daily Flatbed (35C14). The robust truck-based chassis synonymous with the IVECO Daily provides strength and durability, and high payload capacity means a substantial bodybuild can be installed without compromising on performance or safety. Additionally, high-performance manoeuvrability and rear-wheel drive pays dividends when servicing challenging areas.

The bodybuild by Richard Williams Engineering Ltd can accommodate multiple toilets, as well as a Micro MIDI vacuum unit designed for emptying and sanitising toilets on-site or in the yard, alongside two tanks. A 700-litre unit can hold significant amounts of waste, minimising trips to disposal sites, and a 250-litre clean water tank and integrated pressure washer can sanitise facilities before transportation.

To maximise safety, the van is fitted with rear view, side view and blindspot cameras, allowing the driver a 360-degree visual of their surroundings.

Mission Award judges commended Mammoth’s consideration for safety, and the practical and powerful bodybuild that maximises the vehicle’s on-site capability.
