Nissan has opened pre-orders for diesel versions of its new Interstar large van.
The model is being made available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine, with power outputs ranging from 105hp to 170hp, and either six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission.
L2H2, L3H2 and L3H3 body variants are on offer, while factory-built conversion options include tipper, drop-side and box van.
The Interstar is available in Acenta and Tekna trim levels. Standard equipment with Acentra spec includes manual air conditioning, and a comprehensive range of safety systems including autonomous emergency braking, drowsiness warning, tyre pressure monitoring, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, intelligent speed assist, and side wind assist.
Further equipment with Tekna spec includes automatic air conditioning, a heated windscreen, a reversing camera, front parking sensors and flank protection, 270-degree opening rear doors, a loading area 12V plug, an additional 10 anchorage fixing rings on the C and D pillars, full wheels covers, and driver’s seat lumbar adjustment.
Prices with the Acenta trim level start at £33,090 excluding VAT, while Tekna spec incurs a £1,200 premium.
Sales are scheduled to start on 1 October.
Fully electric versions of the Interstar will also join the range later this year.
