Logistics UK is encouraging LCV operators to sign up for its Vans Today event, which will take place later this week.
The event, on 27 April at Leicester City Football Club, will aim to outline potential solutions to some of the key operational challenges currently facing van fleet operators.
Sponsored by Logistics UK’s Van Gold partners – The AA, Bott Ltd, Brigade Electronics, Lex Autolease, TVL, and Webfleet – the event, for which places can be booked via Logistics UK’s website, will focus on operating vans during the current cost-of-living crisis, with key topics including updates on electric vehicles, ways to optimise van operations, van-focused compliance challenges, and the importance of maintaining van security.
Logistics UK senior policy manager and event chair Denise Beedell said: “We are thrilled to host so many industry experts from across the logistics sector who are willing to share their wealth of knowledge and skills with van fleet operators.
“In addition, attendees will be given an overview of LCV manufacturing and registration data from Will Reeves at SMMT, and advice on safety issues from Mark Cartwright at National Highways.
“Delegates will also hear from Graham Gardner from Webfleet UKI, who will talk about navigating the cost-of-business squeeze with interconnected fleet technology. This is not an event to be missed, so I urge all those interested to book today.”
