Specs and prices have been announced for the new Fiat professional Scudo medium van, which is available to order now.
The model is available with a choice of four diesel engines, producing 100hp, 120hp, 145hp and 180hp, or a 136hp electric motor. The latter comes with either 50kWh or 75kWh capacity batteries, with a driving range of up to 205 miles on the official WLTP cycle.
All versions of the Scudo offer up to 6.6m3 load bay volume. Payloads are up to 1t with the electric versions, and 1.4t with diesel.
The Scudo is available with 14 ADAS features, including automatic road sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot alert, and a 180-degree reversing camera.
There’s a choice of two vehicle lengths, three bodystyles – van, crew cab, and cab with platform – and three trim levels – SX, Tecnico, and Business.
Prices have been quoted for a short-wheelbase 120hp diesel Tecnico van, at £25,750, a long-wheelbase 145hp diesel van, at £30,680, a short-wheelbase 50kWh electric Tecnico van, at £35,720, and a long-wheelbase 75kWh electric Business van, at £43,050 (all excluding VAT and government plug-in grant).
