Volkswagen has launched two special edition versions of its Amarok pick-up truck.
The Black Edition and Aventura Black Edition are based on the range-topping Highline trim level, but with extra equipment including 20in black alloy wheels, a Lights and Vision pack which includes a windscreen wiper rain sensor, and sat-nav with European map data and an off-road information display.
Extra styling features include a black styling bar, black rear bumpers, black sidebars, black fog light frames, a black polish trim strip on the grille, black headliner and a gloss black decorative insert on the dashboard.
In addition, Aventura Black Edition models come with a Nappa leather interior, Ergo Comfort front seats with electric adjustment, a leather multifunction steering wheel with paddles, power folding wing mirrors, front fog lights with cornering feature, a front underbody guard, styled underbody cladding and a protective coating for the load compartment.
The Black Edition is available with a 3.0-litre diesel engine with either 204hp or 258hp, while the Aventura Black Edition comes with the 258hp engine only.
Eight-speed automatic transmission is standard.
Orders are open now. Prices excluding VAT are £34,835 for the 204hp Black Edition, £38,465 for the 258hp Black Edition, and £40,995 for the Aventura Black Edition.
VW is also offering a matt paint option for £2,420, which it says is a 24% saving, and fitted Mountain Top roll covers for £1,665.
