Truckman is set to unveil a new pick-up truck hardtop at this year’s CV Show.

The RS-3 hardtop will offer all-round access through three lockable side gull-wing doors and will be available later this year for all of leading pick-up models.

Truckman says it will offer an ideal solution for engineers and technicians requiring a mobile workshop when accessing off-road locations.

It creates an easy access space for racking, and has the option of a built-in electrical conduit, allowing converters to install additional lights, alarms and other electrical systems.

Also on display at the show will be Truckman’s new ALUCA racking demonstrator van – a Vauxhall Movano fitted with a comprehensive selection of racking solutions.

Other Truckman exhibits will include its Retrax tonneau cover, custom-designed wheel arch swing case, decked truck-bed storage solution and Vision X light bars.

Truckman executive chairman Mike Wheeler said: “The CV Show is the perfect event to reveal the latest model of our popular Truckman commercial hardtop range.

“The hardtop has proven to be an effective solution for engineers operating in off-highway locations, providing the practicality of van storage combined with the off-road capabilities of a pick-up truck.

“This new addition will offer an alternative option for fleet managers when specifying their vehicles and we look forward to welcoming them onto our stand.”

The CV Show takes place at the NEC in Birmingham between 30 April and 2 May.
