Nissan has confirmed a limited edition of its Navara pick-up will be priced from £28,052 excluding VAT.
Called the Navara Trek-1, the special edition version is based on the range-topping Tekna grade in double-cab specification, albeit with a host of additional items.
It is on sale now.
The name of the special edition model takes inspiration from the geographical location of the Navarre desert in northern Spain.
Extras fitted to the Trek-1 over and above the Tekna model includes sport styling bars at the rear with LED lamps attached, sport side styling bars, 18-inch alloys with a unique pattern to the rest of the range and a unique load bed cover which is finished in either black or white.
The Trek-1 only has two exterior paint options – black metallic or the unique-to-Trek-1 hue of Storm White – with Trek-1 decals on both sides of the load bed completing the visual enhancements.
It is powered by the firm’s 2.3-litre diesel engine, which produces 190hp and returns 44.9mpg in the manual guise and 40.1mpg when equipped with a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
