Vauxhall has facelifted its range of light commercial vehicle as part of the firm’s 2016 model year updates.
Tweaks to the Vivaro Combi and Movano vans include the addition of Euro 6-compliant diesel engines and new safety systems fitted as standard.
The entry-level Vivaro Combi is now priced from £27,094 (the same price as before) and is powered by a 95hp 1.6-litre diesel, which returns 44.8mpg and emits 164g/km of CO2, while the more powerful 125hp version – priced from £28,060 – returns 49.6mpg and emits 149g/km of CO2.
The current engine will be retained, in 95hp and 125hp guises.
New features added to the Vivaro include keyless entry and start, a tablet holder, and an updated infotainment system, which has DAB radio included as standard.
The nine-seat Movano Combi and 17-seat Minibus are also available with Vauxhall’s new 2.3-litre Euro 6 diesel.
The Combi has two power output options – 145hp and 170hp. Both versions return 42.8mpg and emit 173g/km of CO2, while the Minibus is fitted with the less powerful option.
A package of features, including high beam assist, lane departure warning, fog lights and an on-board computer as standard.
“The new diesel engines increases the efficiency of our van range,” said Steve Bryant, Vauxhall’s head of commercial vehicle brand. “This and the extended options offer make the Vivaro and Movano even more attractive for our customers, who use our vans day-in and day-out to ensure the smooth running of their businesses.”
