The firm, which distributes, services and repairs JCB and Thwaites dumper vehicles in the south east, has taken seven short-wheelbase Transits, four Transit Connects and a further 17 medium and long-wheelbase high roof Transits. The vans complement 15 Ford vehicles already on Greenshields’ fleet.
The vans, all fully sign-written and fitted out, have been supplied by Guildford-based Ford CV dealer Grays Truck and Van.
Explaining Greenshields’ decision to continue using Ford vans, aftermarket director Tom Greenshields said: “There is good parts availability and service support should the need arise. We believe Ford commercial vehicles are the industry standard, setting the benchmark which others attempt to follow.”
