Motor Auction Group has announced four new hires to work at its new LCV auction site in Goole, Yorkshire.

The team will be led by centre manager Geoff Flood, who has joined from Aston Barclay where he led the LCV team for more than six years.

Other appointments are Gemma Stokes as assistant centre manager, Jacqueline Swain as vendor and buyer manager, and Samantha Wray as vendor manager.

The £5million site will hold its first sale on 27 March. It will begin with weekly sales, with plans to up this to twice-weekly by summer.

Group operations director Justin Lane said: “All our teams are working closely to seamlessly transfer our weekly LCV sale over from our Bawtry site to Goole for the end of March. 

“We continue to put the finishing touches to the new site’s refurbishment centre, auction rostrum, signage and security.

“A few vehicles have already arrived on site for the first sale, and we expect to be fully operational by the end of April.”
