With all the pressures on modern fleets, Teletrac Navman has identified three distinct challenges that top the list of priorities: how to streamline operations, enhance safety and drive sustainability. Through its TN360 tool, Teletrac Navman is arming fleets with a user-friendly dashboard where they can plan, manage, and optimise multi-energy assets with the help of predictive analytics.
Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), TN360 delivers telematics functionalities in real-time through a single pane view, providing businesses with simplified, smart, predictive and actionable insights. It also integrates with other business operations software for more efficient decision-making.
Sustainability is important to Teletrac Navman’s customers, no matter where they are in the transition process to greener fuel. However, fleets are not only looking for sustainability but affordability and security. Multi-energy strategies are coming to the fore, with fleets moving from fossil fuels to more sustainable energy types, such as electrification, compressed natural gas, renewable natural gas and hydrogen.
Teletrac Navman’s Electric Vehicle Evaluator (EVE) tool, which is integrated with TN360, provides intelligence for fuel transition planning in three key areas: feasibility, financial planning, and infrastructure design.
From identifying the vehicles suitable for transition to electric power based on trip data, to the best battery and charger types to use, EVE provides a detailed cost analysis of the total cost ownership (TCO) between EV and ICE vehicles, indicating which vehicles would be cost effective to transition as well as recommending the most efficient charging infrastructure to support and sustain a transition plan.
EVE is complimented by TN360’s new Sustainability Dashboard, which enables fleet managers to monitor the progress of their decarbonisation targets once their transition to lower-emission vehicles is underway.
The Sustainability Dashboard gives fleets a score out of 100 so fleet managers can see progress at a glance. Not only does it provide a snapshot of savings in fuel costs, it also feeds in data from individual vehicles to help identify improvements in driver performance that could reduce emissions.
Stockport Homes Group is one fleet operator working with Teletrac Navman on its energy transition. As the housing provider for Stockport Council, it has targets to have at least 60% of its fleet fully electric by 2025 and to become carbon neutral by 2038.
By analysing the group’s telematics data, TN360 produced a detailed roadmap for adopting electric vehicles into its operation. The data demonstrated the group could electrify a large proportion of its fleet to cut CO2 emissions, improve fuel consumption, and make cost of ownership savings over five years. Further, TN360 advised on the number of chargers to install and in what locations.
TN360 achieved this by analysing data on vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and travel patterns, helping fleet managers make informed decisions about which assets are best suited for alternative fuels.
Teletrac Navman’s mission is to empower fleets with solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability. The company says its cloud-based platform unlocks the power of operational insight, transforming the way fleets operate.

Highly Commended: Chevin Fleet Solutions
In 2024, Chevin expanded its fleet solutions by launching FleetWave Smartforms, a new tool within its FleetWave platform, designed to create unique data capture forms, automate processes and enable real-time notifications. It also enhanced its FleetWave Driver mobile app which now benefits from new technology and functionality to support process automation. It helps drivers to quickly complete and submit any form created via SmartForms, according to Chevin.
The company claims SmartForms empowers users to create digital processes and automated workflows, to minimise administrative tasks, reduce vehicle downtime, and boost fleet efficiency.
