It has been announced that GSF Car Parts will take on 350 Peugeot Expert vans in 2017 to replace its ageing local delivery fleet.

This represents around 60% of the company’s UK fleet across its network of 65 branches.

According to GSF, the new vans – which will be kitted out with the firm’s revised livery – are being taken on to replace ageing vehicles, which are typically more than four years old.

The company said the new vans will deliver reduced fuel consumption and CO2 figures compared with the older vehicles, largely thanks to their newer, cleaner, Euro 6 emissions regulations compliant engines. while Meanwhile, the newer Partner van also offers a significant increase in loadspace, over the firm’s previous fleet, which means each van will be considerably more productive and, therefore, efficient.

“We’re delighted that GSF will now have one of the best fleets in our industry. It’s a great boost to morale, productivity and of course the image of our business at customer level,” said GSF Car Parts’ operations director, Dave Lewis.
